Who is Sekhar Vijayabattu?
CA Chandra Sekara Raju Vijayabattu — widely known as Sekhar Vijayabattu — is a Chartered Accountant, consultant, author, speaker, and social contributor whose life journey reflects perseverance, purpose, and transformation. Rising from humble beginnings as a street samosa seller, he built his path through determination, discipline, and continuous learning to become a respected professional and a leader in the Chartered Accountancy fraternity.
Since 2012, he has led Mohan Chandra & Associates in Kurnool — a multidisciplinary CA firm delivering services in project financing, taxation, audits, governance, and business advisory. He currently also leads the Funding Vertical at Viksit Consulting Pvt. Ltd., where he focuses on debt and equity funding, capital structuring, MSME financing, and strategic financial advisory.
Beyond professional practice, Sekhar is a published author, community builder, motivational speaker, and creative personality — seamlessly integrating profession, passion, and purpose. His journey continues to inspire individuals to rise beyond limitations, embrace continuous learning, and contribute meaningfully to society.

2012 — Foundation
Founded Mohan Chandra & Associates
Established his CA practice at Guthi Road, Kurnool — building a multidisciplinary firm delivering project financing, taxation, audit, governance, and business advisory services to MSMEs and entrepreneurs.
2022–23 — Leadership
Secretary, ICAI Kurnool Branch (SIRC)
Began his formal ICAI leadership journey as Secretary of the Kurnool Branch — laying the groundwork for member engagement, professional development programmes, and regional knowledge initiatives.
2023–24 — Authorship & Growth
SICASA Chairman & Published "Ground Up Entrepreneur"
Served as SICASA Chairman, driving CA student mentorship and career development. Also published his landmark book "Ground Up Entrepreneur" — a practical guide for first-generation entrepreneurs, released by the AP Minister for Industries & Commerce.
2024–25 — Vice-Chairman
Vice-Chairman, ICAI Kurnool Branch
As Vice-Chairman, deepened focus on strengthening CAs as economic partners, expanding MSME outreach programmes, and advancing the profession's role in regional economic development.
2025–26 — Chairman
Chairman, ICAI Kurnool Branch (SIRC)
Elected Chairman — the highest position at the branch level — successfully completing his tenure on 27th February 2026. During his leadership, he championed knowledge-driven initiatives, improved accessibility of the profession, and reinforced CAs as trusted advisors in the regional economy.
